I try to make all the concentration repeats as seamless in the merge as possible so I do not get distracted. As someone who always had trouble focusing on single tasks for long periods of time I would have music playing, or a TV on in the background, which now I realize made matters worse. Every new song that came on would trigger memories which would pull me out of what I was doing for seconds-minutes at a time and not realize it. Or that feeling when a new song comes on and your unsure if you should skip it because you cant remember it, that too is a giant distraction. I have become hyper aware at how normal music can change my thought process in an instant. With almost every song I listen to parts bring up certain emotions and cause me to reflect on some past/future event which I now realize were distractions. I have spent hundreds of hours with Binaural beats and I personally find these tracks do more for me.
Some things I use this music for:
Sports like running or snowboarding, working, coding, studying, idea generation, float tank, meditation. Anything where I think my brain is important I give the concentration repeats a try.
